Meet
I’m not a chef, but I love to cook. I am a holistic nutritionist, but I will never turn down a handful of mini eggs. You can generally find me on the soccer field, in a yoga class, or at the drive-in movie theatre. I will pack snacks for a 20 min drive and if you haven’t already noticed, I love all things banana.
Coming from an extensive athletic background, I learned the importance of nutritional health and wellness from a very young age. This, coupled with being an adolescent female, put a lot of stress and anxiety around my food choices and body image. Over time this manifested into confusion and difficulty navigating through the countless dietary options - as I’m sure so many of you are oh so familiar with. As a society, we are constantly overwhelmed and bombarded by the ever-evolving diet culture with conflicting information surrounding “the better choice” for each and every one of us.
As a holistic nutritionist, my job is to help educate and navigate you through the maze of options and guide you to simplicity, ease and balance with your health and wellness. My goal is to inspire and empower you to take control of your body so you can feel and look your best. I’m here to help you break free from restrictive diets and food labels and welcome you into a world of truly enjoying and appreciating real wholesome food.
Oh, and the formalities:
I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Culinary Nutrition Expert. I graduated with Honours from both the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management from Sheridan College.
